I help people with Chronic pain and discomfort, helping to restore the body to pain-free function with Clinical Massage
If you have made it to this section, it’s likely you are in pain and desperate for relief. Your suffering may go beyond physical discomfort, often having emotional and psychological aspects as well, leading to feelings of anxiety, low mood, and frustration. It can also affect your ability to concentrate, sleep and engage in daily activities.
Pain can manifest as sharp, throbbing, dull, or shooting sensation. It can be localised to a specific area of the body or radiate throughout, and is caused by various factors such as injury, illness, stress or even trauma.
I can help! I treat people in pain with clinical massage. As an advanced clinical massage therapist, I am trained in a range of safe and effective soft tissue and massage techniques that aim to reduce your pain and increase your movement within 1-6 clinical treatments.
Currently, everything may seem uncertain, causing you to feel irritable and overwhelmed with daily tasks. However, after your first massage you will experience a boost in mood, feel more empowered, capable and regain trust in your body. Around session 3, you will feel and observe a notable improvement. Once you see a consistent reduction in pain that lasts between treatments, you can increase the time between treatments, finally moving to maintenance treatments when a reduction in pain has been fully achieved.
As a Jing massage therapist, I create a treatment tailored to you, focusing on achieving results in managing your pain, combined with personalised aftercare to empower you in taking control of your recovery. I am totally committed to working alongside you to get the results you need and back to doing the things you love.

Mindful Moments Wellbeing
Hi I’m Karrie,
My love for anatomy and wellbeing inspired me to study a variety of massage courses over my 25 years as a therapist.
While I have always enjoyed the benefits that massage therapy brings to my clients, I found that it was only a temporary solution for their pain and dysfunction. I wanted to make a more lasting impact on those suffering with chronic pain.
It was during lockdown that I came across Jing, a renowned institute for advanced massage training and complementary medicine. I delved into advanced musculoskeletal anatomy to deepen my understanding of the human body and its function. Impressed by their approach to training and principles, I decided to further my skills by undertaking advanced clinical massage training. Working as a partnership with my clients to help relieve their pain and increase movement is incredibly rewarding.
We are more than just the bit that hurts! The Jing Method TM doesn’t just treat the body but also the person in it. It is a holistic and unique approach based on the concept that pain emerges from a mixture of biological, psychological and social factors (biopsychosocial model) that vary from individual to individual. As a Jing therapist, I use advanced bodywork techniques that are the best from both Eastern and Western, evidence based traditions, including trigger point therapy, myofascial work, hot stones, acupressure, stretching and self help strategies. Making it an effective treatment specific to each person.
I treat all types of acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain, including non specific low back pain, sciatica, frozen shoulder, whiplash, sports injuries, plus ligament and tendon issues. I also treat systemic conditions such as fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis and plantar fasciitis.
For jaw tension and facial pain, teeth grinding and/or clenching, being unable to open the mouth properly and tooth pain when it seems like there is nothing wrong with the tooth itself, I offer TMJ specialist clinical massage treatment.
My interest in oncology massage began when cancer touched my family and I felt utterly helpless in the face of the pain of a loved one. I could see the importance of having a gentle and non-medical touch that helps reduce stress and achieve a sense of wellbeing. I could also see some of its other benefits such as better sleep, improved bowel movements and pain reduction. These small moments of relief felt so important amongst all the intensive medication and treatment going on.
I hope to draw upon my experiences and offer therapy to lend emotional support, ease symptoms, promote wellbeing and bring a sense of calm.
I work in Waterlooville from my private treatment room. I also volunteer as a therapist at Macmillan Centre based within QA Hospital, working with people living with and beyond cancer.
I look forward to welcoming you to my clinic and working alongside you to get the results you need.
